Nicole Scherzinger Up For The Lead In “Wicked The Musical” Movie!

I’m a theater nerd–and in particular, I’m a HUGE fan of musicals. WICKED The Musical was fantastic! I’ve seen it 3 times and REALLY want to see it when it comes to the valley.
Well, if you haven’t heard of it, it’s the “untold story of The Wizard of Oz”– where you see that the Wicked Witch Elphaba…isn’t WICKED at all, just misunderstood.
They’re turning it into a movie!

Idina Menzel was the original Elphaba, but she and Kristen Chenoweth who starred alongside her have been told they’re too OLD 😦
Rumor has it Nicole Scherzinger is in talks to play the part. She has worked in musicals before–she was in Cats the Musical and Moana.
Thoughts on the ex- Pussy Cat Dolls singer potentially landing this??
